So you built your own website …or are still procrastinating doing so… using one of today’s convenient template-based services, such as Squarespace, Wix or Weebly - awesome! These services can really give small businesses and solopreneurs a great opportunity to have an online presence on a budget. They give you a nice clean starting structure. You fill it in with your info, drag and drop some features, add a photo here and there - and done! Or are you???

I see many small business owners create their websites with little plan or strategy and fall in the trap of the pre-made template. These template-based builders are tools, and just like any tool, you have to know how to use it to make it effective. I created this 2 hour seminar to help you think like a potential client and incorporate some key elements to make your website more effective.

Here is a breakdown of the points we will cover. All of these will take into account the client experience - how seamlessly they click through your content, getting the relevant information quickly, and being guided to a clear call to action:

Defining the purpose of your website, specific to your business

Identifying the most pertinent information about your business that your clients must know
