Work with me - an overview of the process and investment:

Step 1: detailed consultation

After our initial phone chat, we meet in my studio so you can see all of the products available for purchase - from canvas, to metal, image boxes, albums, and more, including detailed pricing information so you may begin to plan your final portrait display. We also plan and book your session!

Step 2: portrait creation

We execute our plan - the photoshoot may take place in your home, in my studio, or on location. I will guide you on clothing and styling and what to do to ensure we create something beautiful.

Step 3: the reveal!

Finally, a week or two after the shoot, you get a private viewing and ordering session back in my studio, where I will guide you through the design of a custom wall display of your portraits, or a beautiful collection of images. This is where you purchase what you love*. I can also use images of your own walls at home to help us visualize your portrait display and choose the appropriate sizes!

*Please note that aside from headshots and corporate commissions, digital images do NOT come with your session fee. Each of my portraits requires extensive creation work and is purchased as a printed, physical work of art. Upon request, I may include a web-sized watermarked social media file corresponding to your purchased portraits.

Matted prints - two senior cat sisters and their puppy

Creating stunning imagery printed on archival, museum-quality materials that will last for generations is an investment. My creation fee starts at 250 for single families, individuals, or up to two pets. Extended families up to fifteen people have a session fee of 500 and typically require a hired assistant. Please inquire directly for specific fees for larger groups or multiple pets. Commercial work is quoted on an individual project basis.

Your creation fee covers my time and expertise, and all the work to prepare your images for viewing. It also covers custom design of your wall display using images of your own home, or the preview design of a custom story-telling album.

Artwork is purchased separately during your reveal and order appointment. I offer a wide range of products to fit your budget - and you only purchase what you love. My framed fine art prints start at 350, wall art starts at 450, and image collections start at 750. Clients typically invest north of $600 during their ordering appointment.

Hi! My name is Radina Droumeva, and I am an international award-winning conceptual photographer, based in Ladner, BC. Aside from my fine art work (, I love helping people create unique portraits that allow them to celebrate life in the form of physical artwork for their walls. There is nothing more beautiful than art created just for you.

I have a soft spot for animals, and particularly dogs. I began creating pet portraits after losing one of my dogs, Seven, who was an extension of myself throughout my day. It was after losing her that I fully began to appreciate what our dogs do for our mental health. I have collected a few stories about other people whose lives have been greatly changed for the better by their dog(s).

I have a home-based studio in Delta, and work with clients from all over the lower mainland and Fraser Valley - Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, Surrey, White Rock, Langley, and beyond. I love working with animals, big and small families, as well as doing individual portrait work for persons who are taking the time to celebrate their resilience in the face of life's challenges.

These clients have overcome a major life obstacle, or are in the process of tackling one, and find healing in letting themselves be vulnerable in front of the camera, and striking a strong pose to go up on their wall as a daily affirmation of what they are capable of. We forget sometimes what we’ve already overcome. Don’t forget - take a picture of it - make this recognition of yourself last forever!

Here are a few stories of my Celebrate Yourself! clients.
